Happy Birthday!(2023)
Puppet TV shows are ingrained in almost everyone's childhood memories, characterized by their cute and simple appearance and easy-to-follow narrative stories tailored for young kids' understanding. However, for some of us, there might have been an uncanny or creepy feeling, or even a dislike for these shows. Inspired by this range of reactions, I aimed to recreate such feelings using the 3D skills I acquired in this class. To achieve a live-action effect, I employed VR to motion capture the characters' movements through my hand gestures.

TAL(2023)-animatiton
In the film 'Tal,' the narrative revolves around a girl who faces a moral dilemma after discovering a sum of money on the street. The story intricately weaves themes of good and evil through the symbolism of the traditional Korean mask known as 'tal.' As the girl grapples with the decision to either turn the money over to the police for the greater good or keep it for personal gain, the tal masks serve as powerful symbols. Each mask reflects the internal struggle within the protagonist, embodying the contrasting forces of virtue and temptation. The film unfolds as a poignant exploration of morality, choice, and the eternal battle between the forces of good and evil, all intricately framed through the cultural lens of the traditional Korean tal masks.
